Maison Lumière

About Maison Lumière

Two photographers who'd rather earn a quiet moment than stage a perfect one.

We started Maison Lumière because we kept noticing the same thing at every wedding: the best photograph of the day was never the one anyone planned for.

We're not there to direct your wedding. We're there to make sure the version you actually lived is the one you get to keep.

The Two of Us

Every moment and detail captured by two photographers working together.

Co-Founder & Photographer

Doug Beigie

Doug brings over forty years behind the lens to every wedding he shoots. His career has taken him from the Cleveland Browns sideline to the Kentucky Derby infield to the African savanna, and that range isn't decorative. It means he's spent decades anticipating moments and staying composed when the light changes and the schedule doesn't. On your day, Doug sets the tone and directs the flow. Quietly, without making it feel directed.

Erik Williams

Co-Founder & Photographer

Erik Williams

Most photographers wait for the moment. Erik is usually already watching the one nobody else noticed. With a background in creative direction and brand strategy, he brings a different kind of eye to a wedding day: one trained on detail, composition, and the small things that end up meaning the most. His work doesn't just capture your day; it interprets it.

Our Approach

How We Work

  1. Both of us, every time

No associate shooters. The people you meet at your consultation are the people behind the camera on your wedding day.

  2. One wedding at a time

We limit how many weddings we take each season so every couple gets our full attention in the weeks before and after.

  3. Edited, not just delivered

Every gallery is hand-sequenced and color-finished by us, never outsourced to a third-party editing service.

  4. Honest about fit

If we’re not right for your day, we’ll tell you, and point you toward someone who is.
